Master’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence Programs with No GRE Required

Those who are contemplating starting a master’s degree program have much to take into consideration. Issues such as cost, time, interest, and whether you’ll have to take an examination in order to get into the program are all factors for prospective students. The most common examination that those wishing to enter graduate school take is the Graduate Record Exam, or GRE. Graduate programs required the GRE for admission for many years. Now, however, since the COVID-19 pandemic, many programs no longer require GRE scores for admission. Some master’s degree programs in artificial intelligence do not require prospective students to take the GRE.

Schools that do not require a GRE in order to be admitted to their master’s degree programs in artificial intelligence fall into certain categories. Some schools will waive a GRE score requirement if you qualify in other ways – say, you have work experience in artificial intelligence or you have a higher GPA (usually 3.5 or above). Other schools have waived the GRE requirement due to COVID-19 for certain years, and are considering waiving the GRE requirement indefinitely. Finally, some master’s degree programs in artificial intelligence are not requiring GRE scores at all for admissions consideration.
